To ensure a successful twilight session, please complete the following before our arrival:
- Remove all vehicles from the driveway and park away from the front of the home.
- Fully open all window shades and blinds. Shades pushed completely to the side, blinds pulled fully up.
- Turn on every interior light possible — lamps, overhead lights, bathroom lights, laundry room lights, closet lights, garage lights. The more interior glow, the stronger the twilight effect.
- Turn on all exterior lighting — landscape lights, coach lights, pool lights, etc. If on a timer, manually override if possible.
- Turn flood lights and spotlights OFF.
- Remove hot tub lid and store out of sight. Turn jets and lights on.
- Turn on electric or gas fire pits. (No wood-burning fire pits due to smoke — we will digitally enhance flames if needed.)
- Do not stand in front of windows during the session.
We typically do not need interior access for twilight sessions unless there is an upper-level deck that cannot be accessed from outside. We will knock upon arrival and again when we depart. The final knock is your cue that lighting may be turned off.
